DUTCH DOCUMENTS FAQ
What documents do you require to produce a Dutch C of O (certified only) / a Dutch C of O and Invoice (certified only) by the KVK.
A commercial invoice (proforma invoices cannot be used) that shows the Dutch consignor’s name and address as well as the consignee’s name and address
A general description of the goods that are being exported
The number of pieces being exported (i.e., cartons, pallets, boxes)
The gross weight including packaging for the goods
The manufacturers details including name and full address
If the goods have been manufactured outside of the Netherlands, then we will need a supplier’s declaration from the manufacturers / suppliers of the goods to the consignor, we will be able to provide you with a template that you can keep for repeated use.
The supplier declaration needs to detail all the relevant information exactly as per the commercial invoice including the HS Codes, detailed description of the goods and the corresponding manufacturers countries.
We will also require a copy of the Power of Attorney from the consignor to CDN Netherlands BV. These are available upon request and are applicable to each shipper.
Each POA is valid for a year once the first POA has been issued. After the expiration of the POA we will ask you to send us an updated version.
What documents do you require to produce a Dutch EUR1 Certified only by the KVK.

If the EUR1 is being issued after the consignment has been exported ex the Netherlands, then we will require a copy of the Airway Bill that shows the flight departure date / a bill of lading that clearly shows the shipped-on board date.
If the goods have been manufactured outside of the Netherlands, then we will need a supplier’s declaration from the manufacturers / suppliers of the goods to the consignor, we will be able to provide you with a template that you can keep for repeated use.

We will also require you to confirm the HS code of the goods being exported.
Once the ATR has been completed and returned to you by CDN, you will arrange to arrange the stamping of the ATR via your customs clearance agent in the Netherlands as CDN isn’t able to offer this service.
What is the cost for processing Dutch certification documentation?
Depending on the number of documents that require certification and your chosen return method for your documents, please contact a member of the Dutch / Arab Department, who will quote you for any work that you want us to undertake on your behalf.
How do I know if I require Dutch Chamber of Commerce certified documentation?
If you have a consignment that’s being exported ex the Netherlands then you will need to apply for one or more of the following Dutch Chamber of Commerce / KVK issued documents:
Certified C of O
Certified C of O and invoice(s)
Certified EUR1
Printed only ATR
How long are completed certified documents valid for?
Any completed Irish documentation that we complete for you is valid for 1 x year from the date that the certification has taken place.
I need CDN to make a change to the documents that were issued, what do I do? The documents that you issued, have been lost / misplaced. What do I do?
In the circumstance that you require us to make an amendment to the documents that we issued for you, please return the original documents to us along with the amendment(s) that you require us to make. Although please be advised that we are unable to make amendments to any Dutch documentation so we will need to raise new documentation for you at a duplicate cost to yourselves.
In the unfortunate circumstance that the documents that we issued for you have been lost / misplaced, please send us a copy of the completed documents that we issued for you along with a signed colour copy of the commercial invoice that was previously used, we will also require a new billing from yourselves as we will have to re-issue a new set of documents for you.
